Ver una fotografía de skip, es ver la magia de SL perfeccionada a través de la visión de un artista de oro. Su manejo de luces, hace que sus imágenes cuenten historias, poesía… Su trabajo provoca obligatoriamente un sentimiento, que puede ir desde el amor… hasta las lágrimas. 1. - What is the picture in sl? / ¿Qué es la fotografía en sl?
***THE picture??  I dont understand the question...there are so many great pictures... I would not be able to pick just one...

*** El cuadro? No entiendo la pregunta ... hay fotos tan grandes ... Yo no sería capaz de elegir sólo uno ...

 

2. - When and how born Skip the photographer? / ¿Cuándo y cómo nace Skip el fotógrafo?
***Skip was born in May 2007... After I was done playing with all the pink and blue balls, got bored sooooon of them    *Rolls eyes.. I did found out I could make snaps..and soon that was what i loved to do the most in SL. First doing pictures for friends, and then their friends..you know how the ball rolls...
In august 2008 I started my photostudio in SL.

*** Skip nació en mayo de 2007... Después de que me cansé de jugar con todas las bolas de color rosa y azul. Me aburrí de las bolitas y  descubrí que podía hacer fotos y que es lo que amaba hacer la mayor parte de mi tiempo en SL. Primero hice fotos para los amigos y luego para los amigos de los amigos… ya sabes cómo la pelota rueda...
En agosto de 2008 comencé mi estudio fotográfico en Second Life.

 



3. - What inspires you? / ¿Qué te inspira?
***People, energy i feel, music, my mood, photo's, movies... life, yes life inspires me.

*** La gente, la energía que siento, la música, mi estado de ánimo, fotos, películas ... la vida, sí, la vida me inspira.

 
4. - Why your pictures are incredibly beautiful? What's the catch? =) / ¿Por qué tus fotos son increíblemente hermosas? ¿Cuál es el truco? =)
***Are they? I think no one says that of his own pics...Do they??  I hope my pictures do touch people. I work hard to create feel in them. I make them with the heart, not with knowledge. I work many hours on one piece, itss like painting in RL.. you just keep adding... till its done...then you feel uber satisfied...and I hope my client does too

*** ¿Lo Son? Creo que nadie dice eso de sus propias fotos ... ¿En serio? Espero que mis imágenes toquen a las personas. Yo trabajo duro para crear una sensación en ellos. Los hago con el corazón, no con el conocimiento. Yo trabajo muchas horas en una sola pieza, Es como la pintura en RL... que vas sumando y sumando, hasta lograr lo que deseas, entonces te sientes súper satisfecho ... y espero que mis clientes también se sientan satisfechos

5. - Your 5 favorite photos: / Tus 5 fotos favoritas:
*** 5 favorits of myself?  Its really hard to pick 5, to be honest, I love every photo I finished, cause I will never stop editing till im 100% satisfied.. So here just a random pick then...

***¿ 5 favoritas mias? Es realmente difícil escoger 5, para ser honesto, me encanta todas las fotos que termino, porque nunca dejo de editarlas hasta que me siento satisfecho al 100% .. Así que aquí tenemos, sólo una selección aleatoria…

 

 

6. - Key people in your career: / Personas claves en tu carrera:
***All my friends were and still are..
People that I think helped me on the map.. Nando Korobase, cause Angel Dessous was my first big brand in professional way I got to work with. Im still thankful for his trust in me.
My Brazilian friend (DJ) Ras Mills, she did so much for me..supporting me in clubs, making galleries with my pics, showing slideshows with my work when she was DJ'ing, plus she did send me the whole Latin SL Communicity lol.. that was a great start for me!
And ofcourse all of my clients back then and still today, who all keep comming back..they are just all so loyal to me.. it warms my heart!

*** Todos mis amigos han sido y siguen siendo…
Las personas que creo que me ayudaron mucho en el mapa ... Nando Korobase, Angel Dessous, que fue mi primera gran marca, para la que hice un trabajo profesional de foto y todavía me siento agradecido por su confianza en mí.
Mi amigo brasileño (DJ) Ras Mills, que hizo tanto por mí... Me apoyó en los clubes, poniendo en  las galerías mis fotos, presentando diapositivas que presentaba mi trabajo cuando estaba pinchando, además de que ella me envió a toda la comunidad latina de SL, lol... Ese fue un gran comienzo para mí!
Y por supuesto a todos mis clientes en ese entonces y a los de hoy, porque regresan  y son leales conmigo, esto me alegra el corazón!

7. - Colleagues admire and why? / Colegas que admiras y por què?
***I admire lots of other photographers, mostly the ones who make totally different work, something that blows my mind..and I would not be able to make. Few names? Graphic Dix, Anon120, Ponyo Kozlov, Asa Pin, Bronson Twine, Fingers Scintilla, Senna Coronet, Patricie, Clem Velinov, Neva Crystall, Maloe Vansant, Aelin Quan, Loulou Teichmann...   oh gawd... I could go on and on... there are so many!!!

*** Admiro a muchos fotógrafos colegas, sobre todo los que hacen  un trabajo totalmente diferente, algo que me quite la razón... y que yo no me sienta capaz de hacer. Algunos nombres? 8. - Photography in sl, it would be better if ... / La fotografía en sl, sería mejor si…
***There would be not that many that try to copy others... but just do their own thing...

*** Si no hubieran muchos que tratan de copiar a otros... Pero cada quien puede hacer lo que quiera.

 

9. - Faces photograph you like most and why? / Los rostros que más te gustó fotografiar y ¿Por qué?
***I love really ALL faces..cause its super interesting to see so many differences. Yes… some are very beautiful… others are maybe less pretty, but when you talk with someone, a client, you get a feel ...and then the face makes sense mostly... that's how it works for me.
I like it especially when a face is different, unique...thats extra challenging

*** Me encantan realmente todos los rostros... Es muy interesante ver las diferencias que hay entre todos. Sí... algunos son muy hermosos... otros son tal vez menos bonitos, pero cuando hablas con alguien, un cliente, surgen las ideas ... y luego ese rostro tiene mayor sentido... de esta forma funciono yo.
Me gusta especialmente cuando el rostro es diferente, único... Eso es un reto adicional.

 
10. - How do you want to be remembered in sl? / ¿Cómo quieres ser recordado en sl?
***Lol… well i dont have the illusion they will remember me… but when they do I hope they will remember me as a nice guy, who has showed he really loved what he did, making his photo's from the heart with much passion.

*** Lol… Bueno, no tengo la ilusión de que se acuerden de mí... pero si lo hacen, espero que me recuerden como un buen tipo, que demostró que realmente amaba lo que hacía, que sus fotos las hizo desde el corazón con mucha pasión.
